Sidra Hospital

Qatar

Housed in a modern structure of steel, glass and white ceramic tile Sidra has been purposefully designed to be a benchmark for healing environments throughout the world. Sidra is funded by a Qatar Foundation cash endowment of $7.9 billion, the world’s largest endowment for a medical and research center. Located opposite Education City and adjacent to the Qatar National Convention Center and Qatar Science and Technology Park, Sidra aims to provide “a new standard” of healthcare to women and children alongside medical training and research. It will initially have around 400 beds, with plans to expand to 550 beds as need grows.

Amanah has done 16 different sections of acoustic ceilings and walls in Sidra Hospital.

Beirut Souks Cinemacity

Solidere, Lebanon

Beirut Souks Cinemacity, which will play a major role in the renovation project of the Beirut Central District. This project brought back cinema in the Beirut City Center, as the area around Downtown’s Martyrs’ Square used to house half-a-dozen movie theaters. Solidere put considerable effort into the structure of the new theater and sought to make the complex an iconic addition to the Beirut Souks.

The compound extends over an area of 12,000 m2 and hosts 2,200 seats across 14 high-end cinema halls 2 of which are VIP halls. Amanah did all of the acoustic walls and ceilings for the theaters.

Abu Dhabi Midfield terminal complex

Abu Dhabi, UAE

The MTC building is designed to be the largest, virtually pleasing and architecturally magnificent structure in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The new building is located between the airport’s two runways, which is why it has been named midfield terminal. Abu Dhabi International Airport is expected to handle 20 million passengers over the next few years, and the MTC will help make that possible.

Amanah is managing the Fiberglass Access Ceilings which will run the length of the terminals.
